What should I bring with me?
Mat Pilates bring a mat if you have one, there are mats available if you prefer to try before purchasing your own mat. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in easily and layers to take off as you warm up. In the Studio you are asked to wear grip socks for Reformer Pilates.
Can any one come along regardless of fitness?
You do need to be able to get up off the floor. Mat pilates we work in a standing position and a lying down position. Reformer Pilates you do need to be able to get up and down from the reformer which is raised from the floor.
How will it make me feel?
Pilates will improve mobility and strength. Improving posture, flexibility strength and balance. You will also expreience a sense of wellbeing. Pilates is not a cardio exercice it does tone muscles and with most things regular attendance will have better results. You may experience muscle soreness initially or as you progress moves.
