About Me

Hi Im Louise Faulkner and welcome to my site I have been teaching Mat Pilates since 2016 and then in 2019 I trained an qualified to teach Reformer Pilates. I now teach Mat, Reformer and children’s Pilates in school.

Pilates became my release after suffering a series of back problems. A kyphotic and Lordotic spine although not serve mean regular movement is essential to maintain a healthy spine.

Following a career in telecoms I studided pilates, allowing me the opportunity to share the benefits with others. I then returned to studying, qualifying in Reformer pilates allowing me to teach semi-private and private clients. Pilates is very much a way of life, working on your whole body, allowing you greater range of movement, a sense of well-being and release.

"A man is as young as his spinal column."

The spine, for Joseph Pilates, was the key to physical and emotional well being. Neutral spine alignment is everything.

“If your spine is stiff at 30,” he once said, you are old. If it is flexible at 60, you are young.”

Pilates develops the deep muscles of the back and abdomen to support your spine, and focuses on breathing to promote better posture.
